SO YOU WANT TO BECOME A PRESENTER?
Well first of all you have come to the right place! You see at Reach OnAir with MWS Media that is what we are all about, we want to provide the opportunely for anyone to broadcast to others. If you have been trying to get a chance in media, you will know it's very hard!

Well not any more, Reach OnAir aims to build up a community which helps each other. Our presenters range from people just starting out to experienced people who just love being on the air! Who ever you are, there is a place for you on Reach OnAir. Want to join? Visit here: Get Involved for more information.

BUT HOW DOES REACH ONAIR DO IT?
Well that's a secret! All the software is built in house by Chris Moses who first thought of the idea for CMP Radio. This station was a huge success so we have worked closely with him to implement a similar idea. It worked very well before and we want it to work very well again!

When you sign up for an account, all the information about how to broadcast is e-mailed to you so you know exactly what to do and how to use our software. Included in this e-mail their will be some simple rules to agree to.
WHY DOES REACH ONAIR NOT CHARGE?
Well if we charge, this immediately excludes some younger people who would love the chance to get on the air as they may not have a credit or debit card or other means of payment.

However, the main reason is because we are all about equal opportunities and feel everyone has the right to do something they feel passionate about. We hope that Reach OnAir will supply this opportunely fully and give people a head start in the media to quick start their career.
SO WHO RUNS ALL THIS?
The day-to-day running of Reach OnAir is sorted out by the management. All management members take care of everything, although the roles are set out for each person, we all help each other. If you have any problems, question or issues, you can talk to anyone of us and we will sort anything out between us. Our roles are just what we do best they are not 'definitive'.

One person that needs a mention but is not on the management panel is Chris Moses. Without him, none of Reach OnAir would have taken place. He is the software creator of AuDEC and the broadcaster. We have worked closely with him to help us understand a little more about what his software does and how to use it correctly! The whole Reach team cannot express our thanks enough to him for helping us create this unique opportunity.

You can visit his site and other software products he makes here.
AARON BEADLE
PROJECT LEADER
Aaron thought up 'Reach' back in 2005 where the first project was to run a successful RSL in the town of Chelmsford. This was achieved and indeed successful. Wanting to take 'Reach' further Aaron thought up something that he was involved with a little while ago called CMP radio which allowed anyone to broadcast. Which is where we are today, creating a project between us to allow anyone the chance to broadcast.

Aaron's role with 'Reach' is to lead the project into new paths, taking on board comments and thoughts from other members and implementing them into the project to take it further. He is also responsible for all legalities of the project.
DANIEL HOULT
ASSISTANT PROJECT LEADER
Daniel has been a part of 'Reach' since the beginning and has been there every step of the way. Dan also runs his own FM broadcast in Tamworth, Staffordshire called 'TCR fm' which has been very successful; you can read more about this station here. When Aaron first told Dan about this idea he was keen to become involved and even has plans to join the two stations up so that his members can be trained by 'TCR fm' but have the chance to gain more experience by broadcasting on Reach OnAir!

Dan's role with 'Reach' is to oversee the new paths 'Reach' will be taking and collaborate ideas with Aaron to bring 'Reach' forward. Dan also creates all the images for the 'Reach' team including the website, internal documents, e-mails and public documents. You can see more about him and his work on his website here.
CHRIS HOWARTH
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Chris joined 'Reach' in December 2005 and has been part of the FM broadcast in Chelmsford where he was Station Manager. He looked after all the ins and outs of everyday life within the studio. Chris has worked for BBC Essex, CMP Radio and Hospital radio, where his love for cheese style music when down a storm! Now that's all change as he is Director of Operations for Reach OnAir.

Chris's role with 'Reach' is to over see all the operations that Reach OnAir throws at him it's a big job as a lot happens at 'Reach'. He will sort any problems or issues that members may have. He will control the station sound and how 'Reach' comes across to the world! He is always keen to hear from you with your thoughts and comments, if you want to contact him, please use the 'Contacts' link at the top.
ANDY HUNT
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Andy joined 'Reach' as a travel reporter for the FM broadcast across Chelmsford but has since become much more involved. Andy has had a lot of managerial responsibilities during his time and provides input in how Reach can expand for the future. He joined management in January 2007 and has played a very important role in setting up Reach OnAir. He works with Chris Moses software and original website design to allow 'Reach' to expand and fulfill it's technical needs.

Andy's role with 'Reach' is to maintain all technical systems (and boy, there is a lot of them!) including website, software, servers, connections and general technical comms. He will monitor progress and output and if all goes wrong..... you can blame him! (Only kiddin' Andy!)
